Good news for all you iPhone repair Do-It-Yourself guys and gals. The iPhone 5 front glass should be really easy to replace.
How easy will it be to do an iPhone 5 repair?
Remember back to repairing the iPhone 3GS front glass where all you needed is a screwdriver and a suction cup? This is pretty much all you’ll need if your going to replace the front assembly on the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5 opens from front-to-back, just like the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Replacing a cracked screen on an iPhone 5 is going to be easier than ever. That’s good news!
So here’s the big question. What’s inside the iPhone 5? In our last post were rumors of what we might see in the iPhone 5. Here is the first picture of what’s inside the iPhone 5.

Here are some of the obvious things to note:
The frame is a different form factor.
The screen size is definitely larger.
The dock connector is much smaller.
The headphone jack is positioned at the bottom instead of the top.
The volume button, power button, and silent switch are no longer just silver in color like the iPhone 4/4s.
